About Pembrokeshire Sheepdogs
Pembrokeshire Sheepdogs is run by Anna Lou Daybell
and the
Lovering family at Tremynydd Fach, a working sheep farm, whose fields extend down to the sea. Courses cover all aspects
of sheepdog handling, from basic
training for farm work, to advanced tuition for trials.
Training is under the direction of Anna Lou, who has many years of experience
training dogs and people! Her particular forté is helping complete beginners
take their first steps towards becoming competent handlers. Numerous past
students have gone on to enjoy great success on the trials field, returning
again and again for her continued help and guidance in a friendly environment.
You will receive a warm welcome from Marion, who,
as well as providing mouth-watering, home-cooked meals, takes a keen interest in
the progress of course members and their dogs. She has run her own
restaurant and still works as a professional cook.
